How to Use Group Promos (like Bookfunnel) to promote your Crowdfunder

Many Group Promos on Bookfunnel now exist for authors to promote their active crowdfunder (usually on Kickstarter). The below format is how promotion organizers typically want their submissions. Also, remember to share your group promo link on your platform and collect those tracked link clicks--otherwise you'll have a very short-lived shelflife on that sharing platform and quickly earn your way onto a banned list.
Here is a step-by-step process to get ready to join Bookfunnel/kickstarter promos
1. Make an appealing graphic banner at 16:9 aspect ratio, we suggest 1024x576pixels
2. In Bookfunnel, go to Books-->Add Book. Add detailed info/hook.
3. In Bookfunnel, under your newly made book, use "upload cover" to add the banner from step 1.
4. In Bookfunnel, click Landing Pages--> Universal Book Links. Add a new UBL, select the book title made in step 2.
4B. Name your link and click the "Display paperback links on Landing Page."
4C. Where it says "Big Button Text" you should type the name of your crowdfunding platform, like "Kickstarter". Under "Big Button Link" you will add your crowdfunding link.
5. Go to your platform (For KS, go to your project, click the Promotion Tab; under Project URL you find the link to paste into the "Big Button Link" field.
5B. After adding the link in Bookfunnel, click save.
6. You may now join crowdfunder-type group promos in Bookfunnel. When browsers click on your banner they will get your preview/hook text and the only button link available sends them to your preview or live crowdfunding page
