Murder Mystery Commercial Licensing
Having run other creators' murder mysteries at The Weis Mansion previous to writing our own, we know exactly how expensive commercial licenses can be, often costing several times the cost of the game itself. That makes it impossible for many smaller venues to host mystery parties, despite demand. That is why we made ours simple, low priced, and easy to purchase. Simply put: we actually want people running the mysteries we've created and don't want to bleed you dry for it. More info below.
To purchase a commercial license, simply go to the shop page here and navigate to the Commercial License category and select which game you plan to run, purchase and pay for it. It's that simple. You will get a generic license file sent via email. Save the receipt from your purchase which is your proof of which game license you bought. Licenses are good for one year.
If you are running a game for profit (say you're a bed and breakfast, an entertainment venue, pub, etc.) you should use the regular commercial license. If you are a nonprofit (church, 501C3, etc.) and are selling tickets as a fundraiser or type of booster event you should use the nonprofit license which is half that price. If the person running your nonprofit event already has the commercial license, it additionally covers nonprofit events and does not require a separate license.
