I've been piping since 2011/12 when I started lessons with the Minneapolis Police Pipe Band--I'd been playing guitar and other instruments for years in a band, but always wanted to do more celtic tunes. Since learning the Great Highland Pipes (GHB) I've also learned the smallpipes and medieval pipes.

I play weddings, funerals, pub gigs, parties, corporate events, military events, renfests, parades, family reunions etc. I am regularly the area's top performer on Gigsalad and have a 4.95 score (out of 5) with lots of reviews!

Additionally, I also play guitar and do a bit of humor between sets when I do pubs. The best way to book me is to contact me direct via text to check dates as I do book up for music or for author appearances, although short term funerals are almost always doable if they are on weekdays.

How to Book Me

Pricing is usually determined by 2 factors: the event and the distance.

I charge $225+mileage for a funeral and $350+mileage for weddings (I don't charge mileage if an event is within 25 miles of Waterloo, IA). I attach a premium to that if booked out for longer than 11 months since I'll have to keep it on my calendar for an extended period (plus fuel and other costs can swing wildly in a year).

For pub gigs I have a slightly different pricing format. If I am booked for multiple events on the same night I offer a reduced rate knowing that tips will make up the difference. I often charge only a few hundred dollars to play multiple sites and lead pubcrawls.
